Effective Training

Effective training for today's workforce involves a concentrated effort from management, employees and external sources to achieve measurable, successful results and most importantly, help keep employees and the public safe.

Our training courses are continually updated to reflect current regulatory policies and address state and federal requirements, directly helping to reduce and prevent workplace incidents, OSHA violations and costly citations. Training can be held at our training center or your facility and we recommend incorporating site-specific written safety programs during the training presentations. Multi-media presentations combined with hands-on training gives employees a comprehensive training session that can be immediately applied in the workplace.

Workplace Safety Specialists instructors are experienced in a variety of risk management and safety principles from basic first aid to government agency-certified hazardous materials handling and safety. They have combined experience in many levels of industrial safety, emergency response and environmental management. They provide technical training in OSHA, EPA, DOT and industry consensus standards, regulations, and municipal or local codes as applicable.

Our in-house production department publishes all student manuals, handouts, exams, certificates and training materials. The same materials used by our professional instructors are also available for purchase for use by your in-house trainers, managers and supervisors through our Safety Training Compliance Suite training kits and materials.

Consulting Services

Risk management and consulting services are provided by Workplace Safety Specialists' experienced safety professionals, industrial hygienists and professional engineers. They identify and prioritize issues and provide professional services including site safety assessments; loss control services; site-specific written programs, policies or procedures and job hazard analyses.  Industrial hygiene services include noise and air surveys; health and safety program development and enhancement or review.
