Workplace Safety Specialists has been doing onsite environmental, health and safety hands-on training and consulting since 1991. We are woman-owned, registered, certified, licensed and insured in the State of Arizona. Workplace Safety Specialists continues to perform Safety Training and Consulting under State of Arizona Contract Number EPS060041-21.

Training Services
Our training courses are continually updated to reflect current regulatory policies and address state and federal requirements, directly helping to reduce and prevent workplace incidents, OSHA and Cal/OSHA violations and costly citations. Training can be held at our training center or your facility and can incorporate site-specific written safety programs. Multi-media presentations and hands-on training combine to give employees a comprehensive session every time. We coordinate schedules with minimum disruption to employee productivity. Workplace Safety Specialists instructors are trained in a variety of safety-related principles from basic emergency first aid to government agency-certified hazardous materials handling and safety. They have combined experience in various levels of site safety and environmental management expertise. They provide technical training in OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, Cal/EPA and DOT regulations, Occupational Safety and Health Standards of the State of Arizona Industrial Commission and all municipal and local codes.
Our in-house production department produces student manuals, handouts, exams, student cards and certificates and other materials. These same materials used by our professional trainers are also available for purchase for your in-house training staff.
Many courses instructed by Workplace Safety Specialists have been accredited by the appropriate certifying agencies. Professional Development Hours, Continuing Education Units or Contact Hours may be issued upon successful completion of applicable courses.
Environmental, Health and Safety Consulting Services
Workplace Safety Specialists utilizes experienced Certified Safety Professionals, Certified Industrial Hygienists and Professional Engineers. They identify and prioritize issues and provide professional services including site safety assessments; loss control services; site-specific written Standard Operating Procedures; job hazard analyses; industrial hygiene services such as noise and air surveys; and health and safety written program creation and review.
