Respiratory Hazard Exposure Assessment

Employees have the potential of being exposed to any number of hazardous chemicals in the workplace on a daily basis. WSS can perform an onsite assessment including a walk through at the facility to determine routine job tasks that may have potential respiratory hazards above the Permissible Exposure Limits or other published levels of concern. This will be accomplished by touring the site, interviewing employees and reviewing current MSDS inventories. If indicated, WSS can perform an industrial hygiene (IH) exposure assessment to complete the overall Respiratory Hazard Assessment. An IH assessment consists of sampling the air near the breathing zones of employees working in potential hazardous airborne exposure areas.
