General Safety Manual

WSS can author a safety manual to be implemented as part of your safety program.  The safety manual is customized by completion of an electronic questionnaire and incorporation of site specific location information, personnel and existing policies.  One hard copy and one electronic copy of the manual are provided.  The content of the manual includes the following:

§         Establishment of the Safety Program and program accountability

§         Methods used to identify, analyze and control new and existing hazards

§         How the Safety Program will be communicated to affected employees

§         How workplace accidents will be investigated and corrective actions implemented

§         How safe work practices and rules will be enforced

§         Manuals include the following safety topics:

ü       Office Safety, Workplace Violence Prevention and Robbery or Theft Issues

ü       First Aid, Heat Stress, Back Safety and Lifting Techniques

ü       Bloodborne Pathogens

ü       Fire Safety and Prevention

ü       Emergency Action Plan

ü       Accident Reporting and Investigation (OSHA 300 included)

ü       Hazard Communication

ü       Facility Maintenance:  Tools, Electrical, Fall Protection, Chemical Storage

ü       Personal Protective Equipment
