Level A - Total Encapsulating Suit Testing

Suits need to be tested upon receipt from the supplier, after each use and at least annually using an approved testing method.
Workplace Safety Specialists can perform both the visual/physical inspection and pressure test of fully encapsulating suits.

Workplace conducts tests following ASTM F 1052, Standard Test Method for Pressure Testing Vapor Protective Ensembles or 29 CFR 1910.120, Hazardous Waste Operations' and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Appendix A.
