Back Safety Awareness and Lifting Techniques

The purpose of this course is to teach participants injury prevention techniques for lifting and moving objects in the workplace.  This course demonstrates proper lifting techniques and pre-lifting exercises that can help employees prevent future back injuries.  Topics include how to identify the most common causes of back injury and the root causes of each injury from awkward postures, workstations or lifting items that are too heavy or too large, twisting to move a load or reaching too far.
