This course is refresher training for experienced CDL drivers.  Safe operation of commercial vehicles, including straight truck, tractor-trailer combination (fifth-wheel, pintle hook, etc.) passenger and school bus are available based on your facility’s training needs.  Topics include brake systems, pre- and post-trip inspections, DOT inspections, backing and docking principles, night driving, hazard awareness and evasive maneuvers, controlling skids, downhill braking, accident procedures, proper handling of cargo, weight distribution of loads and shipping documents.
