This course helps forklift operators understand and operate a forklift safely.  Operators will be taught how to conduct pre-work inspections, steering, load handling techniques, how to work around pedestrians, hazardous floor surfaces, emergency stopping and forklift securing.  The course encompasses a variety of forklift equipment, from basic electric and LP gas-powered units to order pickers and pallet trucks.  Participants will be evaluated on your facility’s site-specific equipment, which is necessary to meet the OSHA 29 CFR 1910.178 and Cal/OSHA Title 8 Section 3650 compliance training requirements.
