Fall Protection and Prevention Training

OSHA requires employers to train their employees if they are exposed to fall hazards in the workplace.  This course teaches workers how to identify, consider and select the appropriate fall protection system. Topics include safety nets, guardrails and personal fall arrest systems.   Employees receive hands-on training based on specific manufacturer’s guidelines to help ensure proper use of personal protective equipment, such as the full-body harness and positioning devices, fall arrest/shock absorbers and lifelines.  Controlled access zones (CAZ), covers, protection from falling objects, limitations of safety equipment and how to implement a fall protection plan are discussed.
