This course is designed to help increase employees’ understanding of how noise can damage hearing.  Participants will be taught the chronic dangers of noise exposure and the precautions that can be taken to protect hearing.  The course outlines the essentials of an OSHA hearing conservation program, including demonstrating proper fitting, use and care of hearing protection as well as engineering and administrative controls, record keeping and other hearing-related topics.
