Insects, Rodents and Snakes Training

This course is designed for field workers and focuses on the most common risks from insects, rodent and dog bites to bee stings and possible resulting infections.  This course discusses safe work practices, common injuries, prevention techniques, risk factors, treatment and the identification of various insects, bees and rodents.  It is based on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Department of Agriculture, University of Arizona Research Council and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) recommendations for protecting workers from hazards involving animals and insects.
