OSHA 10- and 30-hour General Industry Safety Training Courses

These general industry safety training courses were developed by the U.S. Department of Labor to provide industry workers, supervisors and other personnel responsible for industry activities with an awareness of specific safety and health concerns in general industry. Attendees will be taught how to read and use the OSHA Standards for General Industry 29 CFR 1910. Attendees receive an update and review of general industry safety and health principles and information that helps them recognize and control a variety of hazardous conditions. Course topics include OSH Act/General Duty Clause 5 (a)(1); Recordkeeping (CFR Part 1904); Inspections, Citations and Penalties (CFR Part 1903); Walking and Working Surfaces; Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans and Fire Protection; Flammable and Combustible Liquids; Machine Guarding; Safety and Health Programs, Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, Permit Required Confined Space, HAZWOPER, Electrical Safety, Lock Out/Tag Out, Hazardous Materials, Powered Industrial Vehicles, Ergonomics, and First Aid and Medical Emergencies. |
